Thomas Ahlers Regional Manager Asia Thomas Ahlers is General Manager of Freudenberg IT China. His responsibilities include hosting, infrastructure services, project methodology, international roll-out projects and contacts with SAP top management.

Before joining Freudenberg IT in January 2008, Thomas Ahlers spent nine years with SAP Consulting, including three in China. During this period, he gained extensive experience in a variety of assignments. As Senior Project Manager, he was responsible for international roll-out projects in Asia and Europe, for the planning and implementation of feasibility studies and for the development of roll-out strategies.

Thomas Ahlers was born in 1970 and studied mechanical engineering at Hanover University. He also took part in the Advanced Management Training program of the University of St. Gallen. Markus Müssig Regional Manager South-East Asia Markus Müssig is General Manager of Freudenberg IT Singapore. He has worked for Freudenberg IT since June 2003 and is now responsible for the development of services in the fields of information services and SAP and MES consulting solutions in his region as well as for human resources, sales and finance. Before his assignment to Singapore, he was responsible for the strategic planning and organization of the new branch in China.

Before joining Freudenberg IT, Markus Müssig was Global Account Consultant with SAP China in Beijing. He spent previous stages of his career in consulting with Pixelpark AG, in the e-commerce department and with IBM company SerCon GmbH, where he worked on project controlling and business reengineering. While he was still a student, Markus Müssig was an intern with Roland Berger & Partner in Stuttgart. He gained his first experience in Asia with OTTO International LTD., Hong Kong, among other companies.

Markus Müssig was born in 1973 and studied technical business administration in Stuttgart and the Chinese language in Beijing. He also took part in the Asian International Executive Program of INSEAD. Michael Fichtner CEO Michael Fichtner is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Freudenberg IT and is responsible for all business operations world-wide. The Regional Managers of Freudenberg IT report to the CEO in their respective functions.

Over the last two years, Michael Fichtner was already Managing Director of Freudenberg IT following a period as General Manager of Freudenberg IT-Consulting KG from 2004 to 2006. From 1993 to 2004, he was shareholder and Managing Director of the SAP consultancy Gesellschaft für Moderne Anwendungstechnologie mbH (GMA) in Mannheim and, from 1991 to 1993 Assistant Managing Director with S+P Lion GmbH in Hirschberg. He started his career with GDO Dr. Heiss mbH in Dossenheim.

Michael Fichtner studied business administration in Mannheim and was born in 1966. Jörg Vierfuß CFO Jörg Vierfuß is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Freudenberg IT and is responsible for managing the company finances.

Born in Cologne in 1968, he has worked for Freudenberg Group since 1999, most recently as CFO at Freudenberg Service division. He began his career in Frankfurt with auditors Deloitte & Touche. Previously, he completed a training program in banking at Südwestdeutsche Landesbank and later studied business administration, focusing on auditing and taxation, at the University of Mannheim. Michael Heuberger CEO and President Freudenberg IT America Michael Heuberger is CEO and President of Freudenberg IT LP in America. He is responsible for ensuring the performance of Freudenberg IT USA and customer satisfaction in North and South America. From 2005 to 2006 he headed the General Industry and Automotive units of Freudenberg IT.

Before he joined Freudenberg IT, Michael Heuberger held various management positions with Infor AG from 1999 to 2005; he was Managing Director of the MES subsidiary and Product Manager for the core functions of Infor ERP. With Infor, he gained comprehensive experience in human resources, sales, product development, consultancy and internationalization. Previously, Michael Heuberger spent several years as a Project Manager in the automation field, responsible for the design, programming and successful completion of highly complex assembly machinery with Feintool AG (IMA Automation). His final position with Feintool was as CIO responsible for all IT and organization activities. He had joined the company as a trainee industrial electronics specialist for plant and machinery.

Michael Heuberger was born in Amberg in 1970. Ekkehard Spieth General Manager Europe Together with Stephan Gemm, Ekkehard Spieth is responsible for the European region. In addition, he is Head of the Information Services Division of Freudenberg IT.

Ekkehard Spieth gained valuable experience in software quality engineering and software engineering with Hewlett Packard in Boston and Böblingen before managing the European IT infrastructure operations of Johnson Controls Inc. for several years. In 2001, he spearheaded the development of professional service business at EMC Deutschland. He became a Member of the Board of Management of BTC AG, where he was responsible for SAP hosting among other things, in 2004, before joining A.W. Faber-Castell Consulting as Managing Director in 2006.

Ekkehard Spieth was born in 1967 and studied electrical engineering and theoretical digital technology at Kaiserslautern University. Stephan Gemm General Manager Europe Stephan Gemm, 41, is General Manager Europe, sharing the position with his colleague Ekkehard Spieth. He also heads up Solution Consulting for SAP and MES.

Having trained as an expert in IT and electronics, he began his career in 1991 with VSG as a junior IT consultant, with emphasis on SAP. He rapidly progressed along a traditional consultant career path, with his responsibilities soon being extended beyond national borders to include customers in Switzerland and the United States. His key focus was the retail, manufacturing and automotive industries. In 1998, he left Multivision to found and manage VisionOne before becoming a Managing Executive at TDS in 2000. From 2003 until 2006, he was Consulting Director at SAP Steeb before joining Oracle as Senior Director for Consulting and later Senior Director of Sales. Mr. Gemm took up his position at Freudenberg IT at the beginning of May 2010.
