The Freudenberg Corporate Group
We are part of the internationally operating Freudenberg corporate group. This means that our comprehensive project insight and experience stretches way back. Our goal is not only to develop different theoretical approaches to solutions, but also to prove their worth and profitability in everyday operations.
As a family company, Freudenberg places emphasis on long-term orientation, financial solidity, and the excellence of our employees. The Group is active in 53 countries, with 14 independently operated divisions in various different markets. Freudenberg supplies seals, vibration control components, filters, nonwovens, separating agents, and lubricants to just about every vehicle manufacturer around the world, as well as increasingly to customers from other industries, such as machine and plant engineering, the power and chemicals industries, and the medical and pharmaceutical sector. Freudenberg nonwovens are used in the textile and clothing industry, as well as in construction. A further, smaller percentage of Freudenberg products is sold directly to the retail consumer under the brand names vileda®, O´Cedar®, and Wettex®.
The Freudenberg company belongs to around 300 descendants of Carl Johann Freudenberg, the company's original founder. The terms of the partnership agreement guarantee its financial independence. Being a family company, however, means much more to Freudenberg than merely an ownership structure. We place great emphasis on values such as reliability, trust, and long-standing personal relationships. Partnered with a power to innovate, commercial prudence, and the capacity to continually evolve, these values have secured our success over the years.
Freudenberg IT is an integral part of the Freudenberg corporate group, and with an external market share of approx. 65%, has proven to be the most successful IT spin-off in Germany.
